Traditional Japanese tattooing "Tebori" is characterized by floral motifs and mythological characters and animals, generally depicted with bold colours on dark backgrounds that represent the four elements (earth, water, fire and air).

These types of tattoos are medium/large in size and are done on specific body parts, just like a tailored suit. At TTS Milan it's possible however to tattoo just individual elements with or without a background, mostly medium-sized, in black with grey shading or in colour. Simple and elegant.
